Having finished my degree in Jewellery and Metalwork from UCCA at Farnham, I now live in a small village in Scotland, where I spend my time making things and looking out at the countryside marvelling in the beauty around me.
I'm particularly interested in anatomy, museums, landscape and experimenting with different ways to work with metal. My final pieces from my university degree show were based on deformed or mutated skeletons displayed in boxes as if they were from a museum. I plan to do more in this range, although because I don't have the same facilities I'm having to work out new ways to do things!
My current "cracks" range is developed from work based on the landscape of the north west of Scotland. The landscape there is unlike anywhere else in Britain and I think it is as beautiful as anywhere I've been…
