Brenda Sanders' Profile

About

Sewing, crocheting, it's what I do. Everything you see in my shop is made by me and only me, including purchasing the fabrics, all the cutting, pre-washing, ironing, and sewing. I love finding unique styles and color choices that give the feel of traditional and vintage but definitely have a modern flair. My crocheted items are made from my grandmother's old patterns. She passed in 1995 and I hope she smiles when she sees me creating the patterns she used to do herself.

I have both Lupus and Fibromyalsia and in 2006, I was declared legally disabled and unable to "work" any longer, so I turned to creating to find peace and an outlet for my (sometimes) odd imagination. Others seemed to love my stuff as well and suggested I open a shop, and so I did. All of that, leading jr high and high school Girl Scouts, four of my own kids, and a husband whom we refer to as The King makes for a busy little life.
