About

I'm happily married to a half mad Sicilian, with two daughters and a son and twin grandchildren, a gorgeous little boy and a beautiful little girl.

I used to teach Business and Finance to Engineering students but 4 years ago I suffered a level 5 brain hemorrhage, the air ambulance saved my life with twenty minutes to live, then just as I thought it couldn't get any worse four months later I was diagnosed with breast cancer.......and now I'm a cancer survivor and life is just great!

I started to make flowers, probably because I always loved crafting and i found it therapeutic, since then I have never looked back, flowers are an essential part of my life now.

I have worked to commission over the last few years, lovingly hand crafting and painting bridal bouquets and corsages, I recently completed a commission for a large garden centre display to commemorate the Royal wedding.

I take my work seriously because I don't want to disappoint my customers, especially when we are working together on their ideas and designs and ultimately I want them to love my work as much as I do. Sometimes it can take hours of patience and painstaking hard work, as a recent wedding will testify, having made eight table wreaths, I worked out that each one contained approximately 60 to 70 hand painted, hand crafted roses, that's a lot of flowers!

I really hope that you like my work, and if you would like a commission or to discuss any of your ideas for your special occasion please do contact me. I also have a web site where you will find much more information and a gallery of my work www.sapritas.com

I look forward to hearing from you
