Laurie's Profile

About

I make my own paper beads using magazines, catalogs, junk mail, cereal boxes, paper scraps and any other materials headed towards the recycle bin. I use these and other natural elements to create fashionable, eco-friendly jewelry. I also love to take apart old things, like vintage-y thrift finds and give new life to them in a totally different piece.

I'm a military wife (USMC---oooohh rah!) and a mom to a 4 year old girl and a 2 year old boy. During nap-time and after lights out, I can be found at my crafting desk rolling, glazing, and putting together things that I think look cool and pretty.
