I love to paint, period.

Life is filled with color, and I enjoy capturing our beautiful world through watercolor.

22 years ago, I made the decision to become a full-time artist, and I have not looked back since. My artistic journey has allowed me the opportunity to travel the country exhibiting at fine art shows, meeting and greeting a wide range of people, and experience the wonder of life.

I paint what I see. I observe and soak in my surroundings, and sometimes snap a picture for a quick reference. These paintings turn into a number of series that include urban city life, landscapes, florals, and abstracts. They are a complete expression of my artistic creativity, and it has been a pleasure sharing my imagination with art lovers. I am also know to dabble in a little glass. My acrylic abstract "broken is beautiful" series happened quite by accident. I was encouraged by a fellow arist to paint on glass, and I did. Turned out pretty well I must say so myself, and I have created quite a few over the years. One day, I was painting a piece on glass and as I was letting it dry I stepped on it, quite by accident. Being of an artistic mind, I decided it looked pretty cool, and started to assemble abstract designs from broken glass, neat, right? I wll showcase these pieces on a seperate section for you to enjoy very soon.

Artist Stacey Brown, currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia offers an eclectic collection of original paintings for the contemporary art lover. Born and reared in Murfreesboro, North Carolina, his artistic journey of discovery began with aspirations for a career in graphic design. After graduating from the Art Institute of Atlanta, he embarked on a successful ten year career in his chosen field, but something was "missing" in his life. That something "missing" drew him to his paint brush, and he decided to pursue his true love, fine art. His passion for the arts has led him to a successful career as a full-time artist, expressing himself through acrylic paintings on glass, and watercolor on paper. He remains visually aware of his surroundings by incorporating colors that correspond with current contemporary trends, as well as remaining in tune with his roots with traditional landscapes, and urban neighborhood scenes that exude keen observations of everyday life.

Brown’s work has garnered popular attention by features in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Décor Magazine, Jezebel, and Uptown Magazine. He has been a featured artist on the nationally syndicated radio talk show host Tom Joyner’s Fantastic Voyage Cruise, and his work is in the private collections of Verizon Wireless, Nationwide Insurance, Liberty Bank and Trust, and the Bounce TV network. Most recently he created original murals for the Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint, and Farm Burger Buckhead Restaurants, both located in Atlanta.

Discriminating art lovers throughout the country and abroad collect his eclectic and contemporary creations, which has led him to emerge as a visionary artistic talent for the 21st century.
