Miss Zelda Sayre, the lovely and attractive daughter of Judge and Mrs. A. D. Sayre of Montgomery and social favorite throughout the South, was married Saturday April 3, 1920 at high noon in New York to Francis Scott Fitzgerald, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fitzgerald of Minnesota and a celebrated popular author, at the Rectory of St. Patrick's Cathedral. The marriage was the culmination of the romance that was begun when Lieutenant Fitzgerald was stationed at Camp Sheridan with the ninth division. The couple are at the Biltmore for the month of April and afterwards will spend the summer on the coast.
