Welcome to the sea fairies' jewelbox! I'm glad you found my little grotto of lovelies, and hope you will find just that perfect piece of jewelry you were looking for.

I create my jewelry in my light-filled home studio from beautiful gemstones and freshwater pearls, sterling and fine silver, 14k gold-filled wire, and gold vermeil (24K gold over sterling silver).

I first attempted to sell my handmade jewelry on a deserted road in upstate Vermont when I was 11--I created jewelry out of abandoned telephone wire and actually sold some from a table on the side of the road!

A very artistic aunt who died young set me on my more professional creative path--she was a true artist, working with beads and glass, driftwood and weaving and many different fiber arts. I am happy to continue in her path and make creations out of gemstones and precious metals.

I am a stay at home mom with two little boys (they say they're "medium" now), settled down by the beach after a life of wandering. I have lived all over the US, as well as a long summer in London and two and a half years in Padova, Italy. I also spent a summer as an au pair on a tiny island called Panarea off the northern coast of Sicily.

I draw on my studies of literature, architecture, and art history for my design inspiration, as well as the beauty of the natural world (particularly, of course, the ocean).

I am so happy to be selling my jewelry on etsy. I purchase most of my supplies (and all the gifts I give :) from etsy vendors and I am glad that I can support independent artisans.

I run my business as a sole proprietor and pay all applicable federal and state taxes, including social security and state sales taxes.

I am "buyer friendly" and would be happy to adjust chain lengths, change earwires, and customize when possible. Just ask and I'll do my best.
