Back in 2007 (yes, way back) I was in the midst of a lot of life changes. My mom had recently passed away. My brother was in job flux. A long term relationship with someone I adored had ended. I was hitting a birthday milestone and feeling WAY too sorry for myself.
Although I come from a family of artists, I had never really bloomed into anything creative or artisic. Drawing? Required too much skill. Knitting? Math! Woodworking like my dad and brother? Scary tools. Needlepoint? Talk too much.
I started with a few beads on a rainy July afternoon. Hmm. This was fun! Yes, math is involved but you can take your time. Lots of fun beads, too!
