Jennifer Schildt's Profile
Hi, my name is Jen, and I'm a longtime seamstress. I grew up amidst the quilting revival of the 70s. Some of my first sewing experiences were putting together 9-patch pillows with my mom and her quilting teacher.
While I still have a fondness for my mom's old Singer, cams and all, I'm thrilled with the direction technology has taken sewing. My embroidery machines have grown greatly in size. I started with what I thought was a fancy machine with a 5x7 hoop, and I've grown into a 16 needle commercial machine that will cover an entire jacket back in one go. It's great fun to be able to recreate projects our grandmothers spent weeks working on in just a matter of days.
Thanks for dropping by, and I hope you'll see something you like.
