Liz Fappiano's Profile

About

Since childhood I have been fascinated by art and the wonders of nature. I began carving and printing with linoleum blocks back in the early seventies. My art career has followed many paths over the years moving from coloring book illustration to sign painting to pre-press graphics to motorcycle painting, but printmaking has always been a constant thread.

I have so much fun with the process of block printing because it's contrived yet surprising as each piece goes through the steps to completion.

My original hand pressed and hand pulled prints are printed in very limited editions, usually from 6 to 20 pieces.

In addition to the original prints I reproduce my art as recycled paper 5"x7" artist notecards, journals and calendars.

Thanks for visiting!!
