Welcome to Aunt Lu's Farm...a place where memories and nostalgia come to life through my weekend creations. The farm is a very special place...one of the cornerstones of my childhood memories. My sisters and cousins and I played in the haymound, in the junkyard (eek!), and in the milkhouse. We rode the tractors, climbed the apple tree, and chased the barn cats. We played croquet, volleyball, and Charlie Daniels. And we weren't the first generation to do so! I believe my love of all things vintage is largely inspired by Aunt Lus' dishtowels, her ornate hat pins (which I'm certain were for display purposes only!), those blue and white dishes in that hutch...the list goes on and on. I am also inspired by my late Grandma Ethal, who had a knack for decorating with fabric and spraypaint. I see these things and I smile. I smell that "old" smell and it takes me back to that place...a place where things were used until they were broken, and…
