The beaches are hypnotically beautiful, filled with pelicans, seals and gulls. Vintage sourcing has morphed a bit from my old habitat but that too is exciting and I'm enjoying making new contacts and renewing old ones.
While living in the frozen north I did a six month contract job for Goodwill in which I appraised their untended 30 year collection of antique and vintage clothing. While living in the frozen north I did a six month contract job for Goodwill in which I appraised their untended 30 year collection of antique and vintage clothing. It was a very challenging job in some ways but at the end I was so happy to see the clothing finally stored and cleaned properly, each piece having been appraised and evaluated by me so that future handlers there would know how old the pieces were and what the assessed worth was in case they ever decided to sell off the collection.
I would like to do more museum work in the future, as I see it as an excellent way to put my 35 years of vintage knowledge to use!
In the meantime I continue to write my life daily in journals kept for 40 years, sing and play guitar, and most of all enjoy the company of friends and discover vintage finds!
