If it's old I'll probably like it. If it has lots of colour and a busy pattern, I'll like it even more. A big influence was my childhood home and the house of aunt Bessie who lived in the country in a place called Wootton Basset. We spent idyllic holidays there, cycling, picking wild flowers, eating cheese sandwiches ( bread, butter, cheese, nothing fancy) and laughing a lot. Both homes an eclectic mix of furniture, pattern and colour which somehow went together and meant all was well with the world.
Still love the country and now living near a small market town very much like Wootton Bassett. Still cycling, still like eating cheese sandwiches (bread, butter, cheese, nothing fancy) still find lots to laugh about but no longer pick wild flowers cos it's not allowed.
I have a degree in Fine Art, completed an upholstery course and learnt some sewing…
