Heres a bit about me:
I am a local artist from Enfield, CT, currently I am concentrating on becoming an Art Educator at Central Connecticut State University, I will graduate May of 2012. In the past five years I have been working hard as a student as well as exploring many new ideas, techniques and mediums to find who I am as an artist. Traveling and meeting other local artists opens up my work to new and creative spins. I strive to be well rounded in all mediums, including; painting, drawing, mixed media collage, mural painting, printmaking, crafts, ceramics and any other mediums I am introduced to so I can successfully pass that knowledge onto my students and into my artwork. Involvement in the community is important to me as an artist, showing people around me how to express themselves creatively and sharing my art work with them brings me great joy. The people that surround me along with other local artists inspire me, but my biggest inspiration is nature. It amazes me how man can come in and destroy nature but once left alone nature will take over with no problem. We are constantly trying to fight nature and use our technology against it. As an artist I hope to open up the minds of others so they realize that there does not always need to be a fight, and we can work together to live with nature while still advancing in all aspects of human life.

Thank you! :)
