I'm a polyglot who calls many places her home. Growing up, I moved every 3 years (on average) and because of that, I always felt compelled to take pictures of my surroundings and experiences. There was a great desire to capture what I might not see again - not just moments with my friends and family, but locations and buildings. These latter two, for me, represented something resembling permanence - which, beside my parents, was not something I knew too well.

So I took pictures. Endless pictures fill my childhood scrapbooks. My grandfather, who had a side business as a photographer when he was my age, has encouraged me. My father recently started photographing again, as well. It seems to run in the family, this desire to capture the world around us without disturbing it.

So pictures fill my pages, but I'm pretty sure there will be other crafts and whatnot…
