Simone Solomon's Profile

About

I was born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1969 to an Israeli father and Danish mother. We moved to Israel at the beginning of 1970 and settled in Petah Tikva.

During my studies I honed my skills working as an apprentice with a well known British Ceramicist, Caroline Wyman who works solely in porcelain.

Since graduation I have established studio’s first in London and later at Home in Reut, Israel. My work has been exhibited in London, Malmo and The Biennale of Ceramics at the Ha’aretz Museum in Tel Aviv. I am a member of a co-op of ceramic artists “8 Altogether”, our work being sold at our shop in Nahalat Shiva in Jerusalem, and now also at "8 in Jaffa" the new and beautiful gallery in the flea market of Jaffa.

I am also on Etsy under Saffron Moon Art @ www.etsy.com/shop/SaffronMoonArt/
