About

Hey there, my name is Suzie and I am a true blue country girl! I was born and raised in Virginia. I taught elementary school for 30 years. I recently retired from education to begin the second phase of my life. Hence the crafter in me was let loose. I am now a full time crafter, a craft-a- holic you might say.

I think the crafter in me was born, sitting at my Grandmas feet. She would watch her soap opera as I practiced the embroidery stitches she had taught me the day before. During the commericals, she would take my work and tell me what was done well and what I needed to pick out and do over.

In school, I was the one who would be cheering about projects when all those around me would be groaning. I simply love starting out with bits and pieces of this and that and creating something amazing from it. My passions are jewelry and…

In school, I was the one who would be cheering about projects when all those around me would be groaning. I simply love starting out with bits and pieces of this and that and creating something amazing from it. My passions are jewelry and scrap booking, but I am interested in just about everything creative.

Did I mention that I love VINTAGE? I think our history is amazing. Anything from the past makes me smile. When I hold it in my hands, I wonder who else held it and what did it mean to them!

I believe I inherited a collector's gene from my mother. I can remember, as a little girl, traveling around with her hunting for treasures. I would save my allowance so that I could buy some small item for my collections.

Today, I am an avid collector of fireking glassware, ladies vintage compacts, bakelite, dollhouses, cookie jars, tin toys, and so very many more! I am a proud member of the Vintage Etsy Society Street Team!

I do hope you visit my shop and find something you just can't do without!
Smiles to you!
Suzie
