I am just a laid back country gal that loves turnip greens and all things Southern like family, saying ya'll, carrot cake, and manners. I started sewing over 45 yrs ago by making my doll a matching dress for one of my dresses and have loved fabric and sewing since then. I can remember making my doll dress patterns and using scraps to make just the right outfits for my dolls.
I've worked as a teacher of special needs students and as a caseworker with a therapeutic foster care agency. I remained in social work after leaving that agency for another 13 years. I am now retired and loving every minute of my sewing for my Etsy shop. Sunday afternoons feel so different now that I don't have to shut down my brain to go back to work!!
Sewing is a stress buster for me and I can get lost for hours in a fabric store. My imagination runs wild-can't stop…
