Susan Jizba's Profile

About

I'm a writer and an artist. I started off at UCLA Extension in the Writer's Program. I had some success with my screenwriting including winning some awards. I almost sold one of my original TV pilots to a British Producer before the financing fell through. ABC considered hiring me as a writer and I had industry interest in my feature specs.

I always wanted to write a novel, so recently I did. I'm very excited about it! I'm finishing up the edits; it's a young adult fantasy novel entitled "The Quest for the Sanservarian Amulet".

I love the peaceful solitude of the early morning, when everyone is still asleep. My best writing is done in those pre-dawn magical hours.

I'm fascinated with stones and their mystical properties and have made my own wire wrapped and knotted jewelry for years. I also collect stones. The process of choosing a stone is intuitive. Sometimes I become obsessed with the feel/energy of a specific stone and I have to have it. Hopefully it's not too expensive!

I love fairies and angels. I have had trouble finding fairy/faerie pendants that matched my personal style, so I decided to make my own. I took a Precious Metal Clay Class at a community college and was hooked!

My creativity and designs are inspired by nature and the outdoors. I love the peaceful spiritual quality of the muted light of twilight. I could gaze at it for hours, but it doesn't last that long. I love forests, fern fronds and moss. I love hiking in nature and would love to revisit the Olympic Peninsula, which was such a magical place for me as a child.

I love yoga. I love the feeling of a slow deep full breath. I love it when I take the time to pause and be present; feeling the fullness of moment with all my senses.

I love Tami Marie Parrington's incredibly insightful intuitive readings and healing transformative guided meditations asktamimarie"@"yahoo.com . She's Absolutely Amazing!

I love spending playful times with my wonderful, smart, funny, creative, and kind boyfriend Barry. : )
