Shannon KB's Profile

About

I have been making jewelry and rosaries for over 20 years now. For a few years I did it for a living, selling on eBay and in my local community. In 2006 my ten-year-old son, Keeghan, was diagnosed with brain cancer. He died on August 31, 2008.

Since Keeghan's death I have devoted much of my time - and my jewelry sales - to childhood cancer advocacy. Keeghan told us when he was diagnosed that he would beat his cancer, even if he had to do it "cell by cell." We want to continue to fight his cancer for other children, which is why I am now making jewelry to raise funds for, and awareness of, pediatric brain tumor research and to help other families still fighting this hideous disease.

Please feel free to email me if you have questions about any of my designs, and thank you for looking!
