About

Stephanie Palm is a Southern Conjure/Hoodoo practitioner from Nashville, TN where she owns and operates Music City Mojo, an online spiritual supply shop and consultation practice. She has been a working her craft for over 20 years and is the founder and co-leader of the Society of the Crooked Crossroads, a Primitive Witchery coven located in Nashville.

Stephanie prefers to work within the realm of Southern Conjure because of its "get your hands dirty", practical usage of various herbs, roots, minerals, and zoological curios, creating an undescribable feeling of unity with Nature.

Stephanie hand mixes her oils, powders, baths, & washes in antique whiskey and apothecary bottles to absorb a little of that "days gone by" atmospehere. She also prefers to collect her items for her workings from cemeteries and historical places as well. The bricks used in her brick dust are about 300 years old, Graveyard Dirt must come from significant places after speaking to the dead whose graves it is "bought" from, and old perfumes from 19th century brothels from give her attraction oils a bit of a kick. Stephanie is meticulous in the collection of items and creation of her curios. Life has no coincidences and neither do her curios.

Stephanie adds a slight macabre slant to much of her work because like Minerva from "Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil", Stephanie also believes that you can't truly know the living unless you can talk to the dead.

You can find Stephanie peddling her wares and teaching classes on Conjure at various festivals throughout the southeast and midwest.
