About

I'm a vintage fashion enthusiast-turned vintage clothing seller. My store was born out of the madness of my collecting habits, overflowing closets and a strong compulsion to tirelessly shop for vintage. I'm a self-professed lover of 1960s mod, futuristic space-age designs and, while I hate to admit it, I like the bohemian 70s hippie culture fashions too (shhh...don't tell anyone that I'm a closet Woodstock wanna be).
I'm always on the prowl for great vintage from the 1940s to 1980s and work hard to stock my store with reasonably priced vintage clothing focused primarily on the 50s, 60s and 70s eras.

And here are a few more tidbits about me....
I live in a small, sleepy, but charming waterside city (Benicia) in Northern California that was in the mid-1800s the third state capitol of California, albeit briefly. I spent many years working in international human resources for a major multi-national corporation. In this role I had great opportunities to travel internationally and to see many parts of the world...places I could only have earlier dreamed about in an overactive imagination. These experiences not only opened my eyes to other cultures and people but also taught me invaluable life lessons about tolerance, communication, relationship building, and managing expectations (my own and my customers). I've since left that career behind to follow my dreams of creating a life that doesn't include the proverbial "ball and a chain" 9-5 job. If I didn't know better, however, I would think that I work just as hard today as I did in my former job, the difference being that shopping IS now an integral part of my job description rather than a past time.
I couldn't ask for a more rewarding selling and buying experience than what I've experienced on Etsy. It has allowed me to cross paths with some incredible, creative, kind and amazing people.
