About

I'v been a professional artist for the past 20 years. People have always loved my installations but were discouraged they couldn't fit a 25 foot stack of blue eggs in their living room. About

I'v been a professional artist for the past 20 years. People have always loved my installations but were discouraged they couldn't fit a 25 foot stack of blue eggs in their living room. So it came to me one day after constructing a crate to transport a sculpture cross country - the combination of wood, ceramics, framing and stacking would make a cool lamp, so Stephanie Nichols Studio was launched. I apply my minimalist sculpture aesthetic and interest in light, texture and multiples to my lamp creations. Now my sculptures can fit in your living room, shed some light and bring art into the everyday.

I create one of a kind contemporary, sculptural lamps. From unique table and floor lamps to modern pendant lights, my innovative lamp designs can transform an entire room or intimate reading nook. Every process is done by hand: glazing, firing, sanding and finishing. Each is individually crafted and assembled with great care given to every component. Beauty of form, function and craftsmanship are of the utmost importance.

I balance my time between art, design, teaching and raising two children with husband and design partner, Marc Bonneau, in Brattleboro, Vermont.
