About

I'm in the season of my life when childbirth is certainly out of the question and I've now experienced mood swings, night sweats and temporary insanity. My lifetime membership card into the "Wizened Village Crone Society" is expected in the mail any day.

Despite expansive periods of short term memory loss, I can't recall a time when items of antique and vintage origin weren't an integral part of my existence. Gorgeous old things are what I'm drawn to (which is why my hubs thinks I keep him around).

While most other children were raised with gentle admonishments like, "Say Thank You" or "Please play nicely," the phrase I most remember hearing was, "Don't Touch Anything!"

I've spent a lifetime seeking out the elegant and old, the beautiful and beguiling. From the cob-webby corners of forgotten antique shops to the deepest recesses of dark, dank basements, I've pursued the objects of my desire...jewelry, glassware, pretty little things...all with a story...a history. Alas, when one is a collector, there comes a time when room must be made for new acquisitions (unless one wants to find a camera crew from TLC and a line of trucks emblazoned with "GOT JUNK?" parked in your driveway).

So here are pieces that I truly love, collected one at a time over a lifetime. They are offered to collectors, old & new...to continue the "circle"...lol. Enjoy!
