Nolan Hughey's Profile

About

Nolan started his leather craft as an apprentice to master craftsman, Bill Dillon at Maranatha Crafts on Music Row in Nashville, TN in 1975. He eventually took over the leather part of the business and moved inside the Koinonia Christian Bookstore/Coffee-house which was one of the birth places of the christian music industry. The New American Standard version was the bible of choice during those years of revival and renewal. It was known for falling apart at the seams and gave Nolan a ready market for his wonderful craft and a great creative atmosphere in which to grow. After years in the corporate world, it seems time to come home to things that have eternal weight. What better than preserving the written word. Bible, journals and treasured books are falling by the wayside in this digital world. Nolan is doing his part to preserve words of the heart and the art for the next generation.
