About

Well, it started a few years ago my husband told me to get a hobby, so I started doing polymer and after giving polymer to everyone we know, we started a shop on Etsy as KDdids. This was fun and made alot of friends.

But I really missed sewing. I used to sew toys and things for our neices and nephews and even clothes for other people and myself.

Well, one day I was looking thru a McCalls magazine from 1936 and came across a picture of a housewife in a cute apron. I really liked the picture and got an idea, ran into the sewing room and looked thru my fabric and out came a masterpiece. I was so excited I cooked a nice dinner, put on my apron and waited for my husband to notice.

I was just at the point of giving up and telling him when our son pointed out that I was wearing a new apron.

After explaining to my husband what I had made and wasn't it cool he said it looked nice. Just nice! (This translates to its ugly and can I finish eating...)

After getting no where with my husband I talked to one of my friends who was excited at the idea of a vintage style apron. She fell in love with the apron and wanted me to make her one. Then her friend saw her apron and wanted one of her own and so on and so forth.

Now that I have been making them for a while I thought I would share them with my friends on Etsy.

There have been two things I have realized since sewing that first apron. One is that I missed sewing and enjoy the happiness I bring to people with my creations. Second is my husband has no taste regarding aprons. Wait till he sees what I make him for his birthday..

Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope you enjoyed looking at my page, and if there is anything that interests you let me know, I do enjoy a challenge.
