About

Just like the Langhorne sisters, who inspired the famous "Gibson Girl" icon, I am a Danville, VA native, and most of what you will find in my shop are the product of the many years I have spent treasure hunting here in my hometown. The "Gibson Girl" illustrations were intended to represent the ideal woman, "whose "sporty jaw" and often indifferent gaze signified that she was at least equal, if not superior, to the gentlemen who called on her". Today, fully aware of her equality, the "ideal" woman, goes a step further by recognizing her individuality and independence while remaining true to her unique identity. And this is the true inspiration for my shop. I work to provide rare, hard-to-find, and one-of-a-kind pieces that will best express your inner self and its sui generis nature. I hope you like my shop and find something just for YOU!
