Spoiled Girl Jewelry began because I was so exhausted by the same, mainstream jewelry. I am a biochemist with an art minor. I have a quirky creative streak and have bounced from painting, weaving, fiber arts and more. Because of my frustration, I stopped in a bead store, grabbed a handful of super-cool beads and a book. I made a wonderful, quirky bracelet. I was wearing it, for the first time, and a woman, in the grocery store asked, "Where did you get that bracelet?" I mentioned that I made it. She promptly whipped out her checkbook and said, "Good. You can make another. How much?" Spoiled Girl Jewelry was born and has been thriving ever since!
