About

Hello!! My name is Cassandra. I started making things when I was young, starting off with drawing all over the place with markers, like every kid. I made your average friendship bracelets, I dressed in bright colors and had the biggest imagination ever. As I grew older, I continued making, drawing, painting with the much appreciated support of parents and grandparents, and the many arts and crafts kits that I got every year. The first thing I ever really drew from life and connected with was this purple spotted cow that had a bell. It was my favorite stuffed animal, ever. The drawing wasn't that bad either. Since then, I continually got better, more creative and experimented with many crafts. My grandmother taught me how to do plastic canvas needlework, and she taught me how to make christmas ornaments. I learned macrame too, and sold bracelets at the Pine Lake Lodge when the biker rally came into town. That threw a few bucks in my…

About

That threw a few bucks in my pocket!

So I got a little older, and continued to make necklaces, bracelets, and high school came around and I apparently had a knack for art, so my art teachers inspired me to continue on with my art, so I did. At the same time, I recieved my 2 year degree in Auto Mechanics. I decided that I really loved art, so I went to college for 5 1/2 years and now I can create an entire new world of imagination on paper and canvas. I worked my butt off and finally graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art Painting and Drawing from the College of Saint Rose.

While in college, I started attending music festivals where I found a community of beautiful people who love, live and wear my artworks! This community really inspired me to kick up my creative juices to outstanding levels. I started off selling hemp necklaces and bracelets, and then I thought, I need to expand my horizon ~ I bought a sewing machine, and started off with simple pillows made from recycled cordoroy pants. Then from those pants, new creations of clothing. I then brought paintings, tye-dyes, and now I've learned to wrap crystals I've mined, dabbled in some lampworking and print out some amazing photography.. The past 3 years have evolved into SpOo's Artistic Creations, and now my love for art has flourished and I can happily coexist with this universe. <3

Also for the past 6 years, I have envolved myself into the world of tattooing. I am now a successful business owner and a professional tattoo artist.

My best word of advice, is to keep your head up high and shoot for the sky!
