Steven A Ramsey's Profile

About

I fell in love with glass during my high school years while working a summer job for a torch-worked glass company. This introduction eventually led me to pursue my BFA and MFA in studio glass.

Shortly after graduate school an unfortunate circumstance required seeking work outside the glass studio and I turned to design and illustration for the promotional product industry. Ten years passed and then the opportunity to teach arose. I left the corporate world to teach glass and 3D arts for a private art college in Savannah, Georgia. When that school cancelled it's sculpture program fortune favored me with the opportunity to continue teaching and working with glass in Kearney, Nebraska and here I am.

What you see in my store is a conglomerate of my interests and experience, enjoy.
