Kerri Avery's Profile

About

Jewelry has had a big role in my life since I was a little kid playing with my gaudy costume jewelry. As a quiet kid I expressed myself with beads and jewelry, wearing big, bold pieces. It wasn't until I got my ears pierced in high school that I realized I could make my own earrings. So, I bought myself some beads, wire, a beading magazine, and some tools and I haven't looked back. Since my high school days I've expanded into resin and recently tried my hand at soldering. I'm studying Gemology from the Gemological Institute of America and later want to take their course on Bench Jeweling.
