I'm a Northeast girl with a serious love of all things vintage - anything tulle, a-line, ruffled silk, tailored wool, you name it, I adore it. When I was a child, I spent rainy Sundays sneaking up to my grandmother's attic, where I uncovered trunks brimming with beautiful old clothing. I would try on outfits and become characters, slipping into other worlds, going on safari in her trenchcoats and attending elegant British teas in frothy party dresses and long strands of pearls. Years later, it was obvious that these afternoons shaped not only my style, but my personality. Vintage is about more than just getting dressed - it's about the thrill of theatricality, and the chance to exercise your imagination!
Check out my friend Jecca's shop. She creates the most fun little colorful paintings, and all on recycled wood. Great gifts! https://www.etsy.com/shop/jeccamarxart?ref=hdr_shop_menu
