I am a pediatrician in rural North Carolina where I take care of the best kids ever.
The kids teach me things every day (i.e. grown-ups are boring so why be one).
I learned to sew from my grandmother and great-grandmother as a kid. They also taught me how to make X-mas tree ornaments out of Legs pantyhose holders and cut up old cards, how to make people out of clothespins, and how to make Jello in the shape of a gingerbread man. AND they bequeathed fabulous old buttons and fabrics and papers and things to me which I have a lot of fun playing with.
