About

My business, StolenJewels, was inspired by an unfortunate incident which occurred a few days after Thanksgiving in 2007. I returned home from a dentist appointment for my three children and learned that ALL my precious jewelry had been stolen. I was devastated since each piece had great sentimental value to me.

I also started taking jewelry classes: dichroic glass, precious metal clay and now enamel. I absolutely love discovering new jewelry making techniques and styles and learning to work with new mediums. Who knew that such a terrible experience could give me such a rewarding new interest. Maybe the old adage things happen for a reason is actually true!

I love color so glass is one of my favorite mediums. Many of my pieces have blue, green or both in them because they are my favorite colors. I like to embellish my glass with silver wire inside or silver on top.
