Dominique Lacey's Profile

About

I am my own enigma. While I would love to tell you that I know me, I don't. So I use my art as a way to find things that I love, express my inner thoughts, and realize my dreams. Most of my work comes from flashes of ideas or dreams, so it can be very eclectic. Other pieces are the result of an attempt at something that changed its focus.

My main source of inspiration is my family. I have twin sons that I adore and a husband who challenges me daily to be myself. I became a full time artist when I lost my first child to prematurity, so you could say my major source of inspiration is my daughter, Claire. I aspire to be the woman she made into a mother.
