Hello world of foodies, lover of cookies!

I am an artisan baker who relies on common ingredients for inspiration to create gourmet cookies. I love working with complementing flavors and balancing them to create a subtle play of flavors for your palate.

I'm starting with six kinds of cookies; one is dairy-free (Tart cherry-chocolate-coconut), another is wheat-free (Oatmeal-raisin-maple-coconut). Nearly everything I do is handmade--from toasting seeds and coconut, to developing and making my own marmalade and jams for thumbprint and sandwich cookies. Nothing is artificial nor do I use preservatives, which means these cookies are good for about two weeks after you receive them.

As an advocate of organic and local agriculture and business, sourcing local, regional and/or organic ingredients is my goal. I use all organic citrus, raisins, rolled oats, oat flour, local cage-free eggs without antibiotics, local dairy, non-aluminum baking powder, and unbleached flours. In the future, as the business grows, I will strive to use more organic ingredients, not less.

Some of our cookies are wheat-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and low sugar. I'm a strong believer that desserts should not be overly sweet and the emphasis is always on flavor, then presentation.

The facility I use is not a certified allergen-free kitchen, but I make sure there is no cross contamination in any sequence from making to packaging. All wheat- and dairy-free cookies are completely done and packaged before anything else is started.

Please allow 2-3 days after placing your order for your items to be baked and shipped. I use USPS Priority Mail to ship within the continental US only.

I hope you enjoy eating and giving these delightful cookies!
