GirlwithaSeriousDream was born out of a passion for design and architecture, and soon transformed into a personal project once I began challenging myself to follow my dreams. After graduating from architecture school, with prior studies in geometry and ballet, I made the decision to point my career in a new direction and pursue fashion design. It wasn't long before my ever-growing interest in couture fashion led me to seek out, and fall in love with the world of pattern-making. My fascination with the design field originally motivated me to study architecture, so the decision to shift my focus to fashion was a very natural one. I’ve always loved experimenting with color, form, and texture, and being able to apply my skills to design bridal attire was more than exciting! The familiar feeling of spending long hours in the studio really affirmed my transition into designing bridal getting ready attire.

After my own engagement, I was instantly inspired by the idea of embracing what makes a bride feel stunning. It’s all in the little details that make your wedding day even more special! I envisioned a collection of unique pieces I could wear while getting ready during the morning of my wedding, the day before while sharing the anticipation with my girls, or the following days as a way to make the moment last.

Wearing white or the chosen wedding colors is common for brides; and yet I wanted to go beyond that and create pieces that compliment a bride’s style and vision. A delicate getting ready robe, a lace bolero that compliments your gown, or even a day-after silk dress or hand-made crochet cover up for your honeymoon are all lovely and original pieces that are sure to make that wedding glow even brighter!

My collection features bridal robes and cover-ups, inspired by my passion for bridal lingerie; design, textiles, and craftsmanship, all which contribute to a range of pieces that are one-of-a-kind and versatile as well. Driven by today’s fashionable brides who love high quality details and timeless elegance, my pieces are intended to be convertible styles that can be worn while getting ready, for a boudoir session, or as a luxe wedding day cover up.

I dreamt this collection. These are my original pieces, which are proudly made locally in the U.S.A. My sunny, white studio is located in Gainesville, Fl, where each individual piece is created and hand-made with high quality French laces & silks, thoughtful details, and a promise to exceed every bride’s expectations.

Embrace what makes you feel stunning...
