About

I'm a Cincinnati gal - born and raised - who has been shopping on Etsy since the dawn of time.

I had to make this second login because I have, in the past, used my original login to help my mom sell some jewelry.

I'd call the store for my mom dabbling (though we are now thinking about making an honest go of it!).

My store on this account, superfantastic50s.etsy.com, is all stuff from my grandma's house so I should probably talk a bit about her.

My grandma and I were very close, best buddies if you will. She lived down the street from me for 20 years of my life and we often went to the local chili parlor for dinner. My grandma and I were very close, best buddies if you will. She lived down the street from me for 20 years of my life and we often went to the local chili parlor for dinner. She loved family and loved world travel, her favorite song was "Polka Dots and Moonbeams" (polka dots themselves are so 50's!) and she loved good food, especially caviar. Her favorite color was fuschia, she always had her nails done and she was an amazing crafter, especially when it came to her knit creations, which we're not selling! (I took her to Stitch and Bitch once, partly to get her out of the house, but partly to start a new activity that she might like, but it was too late in life and her hands were giving her too much trouble to knit. She wasn't a dropped stitch kind of lady.)

I'll best remember hanging out with her and tooling around in her red convertible.

You may ask why I'm selling these items. It's because we're not in to Mid Century Modern. We're just not. We have other things (like sweaters) to remember her by.
