About

I have been knitting pretty much most of my life. It was because I had so much extra yarn after projects that I started making the 18" soft dolls. I worked with them for a while, and then I got into miniatures.

I was looking to people my first doll house but wasn't able to find anybody that I really loved, or that I could afford. So I started making my own dolls with polymer clay. That led to my working with clay for other things - flowers, food, etc. And then I started making furniture using first balsa then bass wood and sometimes plywood. Every day I awake with an idea and try to spend part of every day working towards that. When I am not working with miniatures, I am a classical pianist - so my hands get a lot of use!

I was so excited when this past summer I won first place in a roombox decorating contest hosted by Real Good Toys. I made a Cape Cod Cottage that was a pure joy - every second of building! And I learned a lot of new techniques as I went along.

Thank you for looking at my shop! I will always be adding stuff, so keep checking!
