Susan A. klein's Profile
I have been knitting pretty much most of my life. It was because I had so much extra yarn after projects that I started making the 18" soft dolls. I worked with them for a while, and then I got into miniatures.
I was looking to people my first doll house but wasn't able to find anybody that I really loved, or that I could afford. So I started making my own dolls with polymer clay. That led to my working with clay for other things - flowers, food, etc. And then I started making furniture using first balsa then bass wood and sometimes plywood. Soon I will try working with "fancier" woods!
When I first started working with wood, I cut everything with an exacto knife and my arm. Now I have a mini-lathe and a mini-scroll saw, so I am set!
Every day I awake with an idea and try to spend part…
