About

I live in a small town in Oregon with my wonderful husband and kitty cat. There is nothing more fun than creating something with my hands. I often make homemade gifts for family and friends.

I originally opened this shop back in 2011 and had it opened only a brief time before I closed it. Life gets hectic and I just didn't have the time necessary to devote to the shop.

But I'm back now and looking forward to sharing new crafts I've ventured into. While I was away, I started exploring chainmaille, and metal etching. Both of which I love.

With chainmaille, it was love at first jump ring. Taking a mere jump ring and creating something was very appealing to me.

I realized quickly that having access to many sizes of jump ring was important as different designs require different sizes. Wanting to save myself multiple trips to the store to purchase jump rings, I jumped into cutting my own. Hand cut jump rings are the very best to work with. Cut with a jewelers saw gives them a very blunt end which creates a nice tight fit when closed.

I also LOVE making metal etchings and plan to add many more to the shop.

Working with metal has proven to be a fun filled adventure. :)
