I live in the woods with my lovely wife of 33 years. I'm at home on disability, but I manage enough to express myself with art, care for the flower garden and take care of our cats and chickens. (Well, my wife mainly takes care of the cats; I'm just something they sit on.)

It seems the older we get, the faster the years go by. No matter what your age, there is a year in your history that stands out. Mine are 1975 (year I graduated high school), 1979 (the year I married), and 1981 and 1986 (the years our children were born). The '70's were a wild time and there are many fond memories; some are clouded in smoke. I think about the concerts, cars, fashion and gas prices of course. I think about 75 cent gas, but also remember getting paid only $1.65 an hour. Those were some great years and that is some of what I am attempting to convey in my art - that feeling of piling into a shag…

Those were some great years and that is some of what I am attempting to convey in my art - that feeling of piling into a shag carpeted van and hitting the road with friends and music pumping psychedelic colors along the highway. Art has had a place throughout history; now I am presenting my view of history through pop art.
