I am on a path now, that I was fully aware of when I was 17, and through all of the days of living, working, playing, and raising a wonderful daughter on this earth, I feel as if now is the right time to think about me, and pursue my dream. The dream was (I lived out west in the mid 60's-early 70's) to have my own little jewelry studio. Silver was my favorite metal, and still is.Turquoise was my ONLY rock, but that has changed tremendously since I have been making jewelry(beads and silver) for almost 20 years.
I have also worked for two different jewelers over the years, buffing and polishing, sizing gold rings, and simple repair work. I used a torch and a flex-shaft dremel set up, it was fun!
I am now learning to do lapidary work, and find every piece of mother nature is special !! This has opened up my eyes to the way I view jewelry...eventually, I will have everything…
