About

Hello, and Welcome to SyringaSpring.

Please, let me get the door for you..........feel free to roam about and if you have any questions I am a 'convo' away.

My fabrics fall in to 2 categories. One is my stash fabric, which I will not admit to how much of this I own, as I cannot remember what I told my husband, so best to just let you use your imagination. The other is finding fabrics and items that can be given new live.

My favorite is military fabric and canvas. Each piece that I hold makes me think........when, where and who had this fabric in their possession? What stories could it tell? The more wear and distress (which I sometimes refer to as patina) the more I love the fabric.

My creative method is hard to pindown or explain. I cannot work in an assembly line fashion, so each day can find me working on several different items. I love to be able to make a new creation. Some items are planned out from the get go. Others become a journey of choosing forks in the road whereby the end result is a surprise to me, but I always work to make it pleasing to the eye. I hope I succeed and you agree.

I do hope that something in my shop pulls at your heart, and you find that you 'must' have it, and that it does bring you a bit of happiness.

To those who have already purchased from SyringaSpring I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I think of the person who will receive the item that I have made and it brings me great joy to hear back from you. To those who are planning to make a purchase, I welcome you to ask any questions you may have and I hope to soon meet you.
