I am an aboriginal/Native Canadian Ojibwe artist based in Edmonton, Alberta. I enjoy painting with acrylics because of their versatility, and am inspired by aboriginal legends from different nations across North America.
Ojibwe or Woodands style painting is an Native art style developed orignally by Norval Morriseau, usually depicting energy lines or internal views of living beings. I enjoy painting in my own version of the style, and delving into other art styles as well, such as Asian ink paintings. Whichever style I use, I enjoy using lots of colour and painting the natural world to help appreciate the beauty of this small planet we live on.
