Jewelry is the expression of a person. Taneesi is now a widely recognized brand formed in 2009 by Manjari Agochiya. She brings you a beautiful blend of the rich cultures from around the world and conveys them through beautiful wearable modern jewelry.
Each Taneesi piece reinterprets history and brings you a modern piece with heirloom details. Jewelry, perfect to be worn by anyone at any time.

INSPIRATION
Having an opportunity to travel the world while growing up and experiencing enriching art and culture in person, gave me the idea of bringing it together as an expression through my Jewelry. India is resplendent with folk art and tradition, a lot of which is being lost in the modern changing world. I have taken upon me to be a change agent and become a revivalist of those dying art forms, bringing them to life through my pieces.

ABOUT ME
Art has been akin to me since I was a child and was always fascinated with colors and the beauty in everything around me. Over the years my passion and fascination always kept me close to the world of creativity fueling the desire to do more. In preparing to launch the brand and my venture I’ve spent a lot of time with artists and their families exploring and researching art forms, stones and metals that make Indian art forms what they are. I love being a part of my roots and want to bring it to the rest of the world. My family,especially my husband has played a huge role in helping me grow my passion into a profession. My jewelry is sold all around the world through several renowned web stores, art galleries, retail outlets and my website.
