As a handicapped artisan, making jewelry has proven to be great therapy for Tara. Creating pretty things makes her happy! And she hopes to make you happy with her jewelry, which is balanced between the vintage and the modern.

Tara's first picture book is "The Monstore," released June 2013 by Aladdin/Simon & Schuster, illustrated by former Disney, Nickelodeon, and Jim Henson Studios animator James Burks. Her next book is "I Thought This Was a Bear Book", also forthcoming from Aladdin in 2014. "Little Red Gliding Hood" releases with Random House in Fall 2015 and "7 Ate 9: The Untold Story" will be a Disney*Hyperion release in 2016.
