Artist, Shuey has developed a unique voice through experimentation with various visual media. Using acrylic paints to drip and swirl in a style more reminiscent of Munch than Pollock, Tara has created an abstract/no-objective form of expressionism. Not confined to any one style or medium, Shuey incorporates aspects of pointillism, impressionism, and cubism in her compositions and her mark-making. Her work is often non-objective, though aspects of surrealism/illustration have begun to surface in her works.
Tara lives in Bethlehem with close friends and her amazing son, Jack, from whom she draws much of her inspiration and motivation. She also is studying at the Baum School of art in Allentown Pa. To Tara art is all about exploration of different mediums ,but now she is more interested in completing a cohesive series by exploration.
