Tasha Biggers' Profile

About

Hey! I'm Tasha.
I have been a potter for thirteen years.
My studio is located on our family's farm, in the valley of Yonah Mountain, in the foothills of the Northeast Georgia mountains.
I make functional stoneware that is fired to about 2300 degrees in a gas kiln located outside my home studio.
I mix my own glazes and throw my pots on a wheel.
I love clean lines and try to make my pottery lightweight, so it feels nice when someone picks it up.
It's so much fun to make things that I know will be useful to someone - or that they might find delight in, decorating their home.
