About

I always used to collect and keep old pieces of junk and items I found; which is a habit that my late grandfather shared. As a Field Nurse during World War 2, he loved to do things with his hands and always would look for small bits of metal or wood when he outside, to craft with. He had a room in his basement that was just filled with all sorts of crafting materials and supplies. I always hoped that I had 1/10th of his skill and creativity.

I have been fascinated with Steampunk and Victorian and Antiquated items and ideals since I was young, reading about the Time Machine or 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

All of my pieces really are one-of-a-kind. They were not bought from China and then resold to you. They are all items which I have thought about, sketched or written down on paper, and then made to look like my item. With almost a thousand different types and designs using these ideas available on Etsy today, my items are unique and different than the norm.

Also, my items are practical. While someone in cosplay could easily wear anything steampunk inspired, doesn't mean that they would. Also, what makes my pieces different and so unusual for most, is that they can be worn by people in everyday wear. Look online for cool steampunk rings and you will see some with sharp edges, wings or parts sticking out or even things poorly constructed. My jewelry is made to be worn with anything so rings are small and tight so they don't snag clothing, necklaces or practical so they work with anything and nothing is too strange or costume.
