Shelbi Lynne Voit is born and raised truly Alaskan. From the Matanuska-Susitna area originally, Shelbi Lynne has lived and thrived all over the state enduring the frigid north of Fairbanks, to the balmy shorelines of the Turnagain Arm. Her studio is currently located in Chugiak, Alaska. Shelbi Lynne is always in production mode, suffers from a severe case of insomnia and likes to push the envelope in all ways enterprising and creative. She resorts to her much ignored garden, loves flying with her family all over the state, loves birds, and has been known to grace a stage or two for her musical and dance abilities. She thinks that her children are the coolest creations she has ever had part in making and is worried they will soon pass her up in terms of height. She enjoys writing, fishing and camping in her non-existent spare time, despises peanut butter, earned her BA in the arts from the University of Alaska, and desires to one day…

Shelbi Lynne's work has ranged from installation art to fine art painting to children's functional goods, and will continue to evolve just as awkwardly as she does. Her work is sold all over the state, in over 100 different Alaskan storefronts, galleries and boutiques.
